Ramp is one of the spend platforms Filed connects to. Ask Filed about a client's spend and transactions while you reconcile their books or review their return. Routines can pull the same data on a schedule, so deadline work starts with fresh numbers.

Connecting Ramp uses your organization's own OAuth app, so you enter values supplied by your Ramp administrator. Read access is always on. Write access stays off until a non-production workflow succeeds and your firm approves it.

How it works
  • Review spend and transaction information
  • Support reconciliation and deadline-driven review
  • Prepare approved changes when Write is enabled
  • Automate spend checks with Routines

Questions

The questions firms ask us

The Ramp OAuth client ID, client secret, base URL, and authorization URL from your Ramp administrator, plus a Ramp user with the right finance permissions. Do not reuse another organization's credentials.

Only when your firm enables Write on the connection. The docs advise keeping it off until a non-production workflow succeeds.

Filed only sees what the authorized user can see. Review the OAuth application values and the user's finance permissions, then reconnect if needed.
