Firms keep a lot of client work in spreadsheets. With this integration connected, Filed can read the Google Sheets your connected account can open. Ask a question in Chat about a client's data, or set up a Routine that reviews a spreadsheet on a schedule or in response to a trigger.
Read access is always enabled, and Write is a separate switch your firm controls in the connection settings. Spreadsheet access follows your existing Google Drive sharing rules, so if a sheet is missing, sharing it with the connected account is all it takes.
How it works
- Pull spreadsheet information into Filed Chat
- Automate recurring spreadsheet work with Routines
- Prepare approved updates when Write access is enabled
- Keep a read-only connection for reporting and analysis

Summarize the Google Sheets information for [client name] for [date range].
Find items in Google Sheets that need review before [deadline].
With write access enabled, prepare the approved Google Sheets update and show the proposed changes first.
The questions firms ask us
You sign in with the Google account that can open the spreadsheets you need, approve permissions, and return to Filed for verification.
Only when Write access is enabled in the connection settings. Read access is always on, so the connection stays useful for read-only workflows.
Spreadsheet access follows Google Drive sharing rules, so Filed only sees what the connected account can open. Share the document with that account and it will appear.
