If your firm collects client information through Google Forms, this integration lets Filed read those forms. Ask Chat what needs review before a deadline, or set up a Routine that handles repeatable form work on a schedule or in response to a trigger.
Read access is always enabled. Enable Write in the connection settings only for approved form creation or updates. One thing to know: the connected account needs editor access to a form, so if one is missing, make that account an editor rather than only a viewer or respondent.
How it works
- Pull form information into Filed Chat
- Automate repeatable form work with Routines
- Prepare approved form updates when Write access is enabled
- Keep a read-only connection for reporting
Ask Filed, in your own words.
Starting points for this connection. Swap the bracketed details for your client and your dates.
Summarize the Google Forms information for [client name] for [date range].
Find items in Google Forms that need review before [deadline].
With write access enabled, prepare the approved Google Forms update and show the proposed changes first.
The questions firms ask us
You sign in with a Google account that owns or can edit the forms you need, approve permissions, and return to Filed for verification.
Only when Write access is enabled in the connection settings. Read access is always on, and the docs recommend enabling Write only for approved form creation or updates.
The connected account needs editor access to the form. Make it an editor rather than only a viewer or respondent and the form will appear.
