Google Calendar is one of the scheduling sources Filed connects to. Once linked, you can ask Filed Chat to pull calendar information for a client, surface upcoming meetings and deadlines, or prepare an approved next step. Routines can do the same work automatically on a schedule or in response to a trigger.
You connect by signing in with a Google account that can see the calendars your firm uses, and existing Google Calendar sharing controls stay in effect. Filed reads only what that account can access. When Write access is enabled, it can also create or update approved calendar entries, and you review changes before you finalize them.
How it works
- Pull calendar information for a client into Chat
- Surface upcoming meetings and deadlines that need follow-up
- Create approved events when Write access is on
- Automate calendar checks with scheduled Routines

The questions firms ask us
Only the calendars the connected Google account can access. If a calendar is missing, share it with the connected account; Google Calendar's sharing controls remain in effect.
Only when Write access is enabled on the connection. Read access is always on, and you can turn Write off in the connection settings to keep the connection read-only.
The connection only exposes what the authorized account can see. Review calendar sharing and Workspace consent, then reconnect if the wrong account was used.
