Egnyte is one of the document sources Filed connects to. Once your Egnyte administrator sets up the OAuth app and you sign in, Filed Chat can find a client's folder and summarize the documents inside. Routines can run the same work on a schedule.

Filed only sees the folders the connected user can open, so your existing Egnyte permissions stay in charge. Write access is off until your firm approves it. With it on, Filed can create folders and upload or update approved documents.

How it works
  • Find and read client documents
  • Search the folders the connected account can open
  • Create folders and upload approved files with write access
  • Works within your existing Egnyte permissions

Questions

The questions firms ask us

An OAuth client ID and secret from your Egnyte administrator, your Egnyte domain, and a user who can access the intended folders.

Only when write access is enabled on the connection. Keep it off until your firm approves file changes through Filed.

Only what the connected user can open. Manage that scope with Egnyte's own permissions.
