Two ways to earn

A reference call earns $250 on its own. A referral earns up to $1,250 as that firm moves from pilot to customer. Both are paid as Visa gift cards.

Take a reference call
Join a 30-minute call with a firm that's evaluating Filed and give them honest answers about how you use it. We set the call up, you show up.
Paid whether or not that firm buys. A reference call is its own reward. If that firm signs with Filed later, that is not a referral, and the $250 you already earned stands on its own.

A firm you refer becomes a customer
Send a firm your referral link. That same firm pays you twice as they move forward.

Both milestones are for the same firm. There is no cap on how many firms you can refer, and each one can earn the full $1,250.

Who can refer?
Current Filed customers. If your firm uses Filed today, you're in.
What counts as a referral?
Firms that aren't already talking to us. If a firm is in an active conversation with our sales team, the referral won't qualify, and we'll tell you right away rather than leave you guessing. Taking a reference call is a separate thing: it earns $250 on its own, and it doesn't count as referring the firm you spoke to.
When do I get paid?
Gift cards go out in a monthly batch after each milestone is confirmed. Refer in March, milestone clears in April, card arrives with April's batch.
Anything I should know about taxes?
Gift cards are taxable income once you cross $600 in a calendar year. If your rewards pass that mark, we'll ask you for a W-9. You'd expect nothing less from a tax company.
Is there a limit on how many firms I can refer?
No. There's no cap on referrals and no cap on what you can earn. Every firm that hits a milestone is another gift card.
